Jesus, an anchor for the soul, safe and secure

“that’s cute, but don’t tell anybody about it”. – Kodak

“there will never be enough problems or enough work to keep any more than one or two of these high speed machines busy.” – IBM

“Edison’s Light bulb was good enough for our Transatlantic friends (USA) , but unworthy of the attention of practical or scientific men”. – British Parliament

“Airplanes are interesting scientific toys but they are of no military value” – WW1 General

1 – Who can we rely on?

2 – So, God said

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
(John 14:6)

I am the Lord, I don’t change
(Malachi 3:6)

We can be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind
(Hebrews 6:17)

3 – So, go tell someone

(Psalm 145:4)
“One generation shall commend your works to another,
they will tell of your mighty acts

(Psalm 145:17-19)
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving to all he has made. The Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth, he fulfils the desires of those who fear him and he hears their cry and saves them.

4 – No one else can save!

“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
(Acts 4:12)
